Since December 2013 visitors have been able to take a comfortable, environmentally-friendly ride from the centre of the village of Welschnofen with the new gondola to the family ski resort of Carezza, where more lifts, 40 km of slopes with guaranteed snow and all different degrees of difficulty with fantastic views of the Dolomites and the Rostengarten and Latemar mountains - the realm of King Laurin - await.

Carezza Ski, the family ski resort in South Tyrol and the Dolomites, is ideal for a winter holiday with kids  of all ages. Whilst the parents swoosh along on the slopes, the little ones are excellently catered for in King Laurin Kinderland with its snow play park, or on the King Laurin children's ski tour.

Feel like giving your car a break? No problem, as the free ski bus and/or feeder gondola, which stop 20 metres in front of Haus Angelika, will carry you to the Carezza ski resort in style. Thanks to Welschnofen's ideal, central location, you can also reach other ski resorts with ease, including Obereggen, Dolomiti Superski, Sellaronda, and more.

Non-downhillers can amuse themselves with cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoe walking, winter hiking, ice skating, winter riding or by simply enjoying the sunshine.
